I Thought NEXUS is Supposed to be Faster

I went through with NEXUS at YVR this morning on our way to TechEd and got sent to secondary inspection. Matt was sent there too but they let him go right away. I had been selected for a "random" check and I had to sit there for half an hour for them to pull my luggage and x-ray it again. I hope a closer look at my 7 day supply of underwear and my Old Navy polo shirt collection was worth their time.
So far the iPad is holding up pretty well... It's the first time I've travelled with it. I watched 3 hours of videos on the flight plus some reading and typing this post on the WordPress app. There is still 80% battery life remaining.
Another hour in Houston and we're on our way to New Orleans...
